Our History

Wellsbridge Motorhomes of Ramsey Fortyfoot is a family run business founded by Harry Hyndman Senior over 30 years ago. Harry’s three sons, Lance, Harry and ‘H’ continue to take the company forward into the future with continued success.  Harry's grandsons Lance Junior Myles are now working for the company.

Wellsbridge Motorhomes has invested in a large, purpose-built showroom which is heated and recently re-carpeted for our client's comfort. The showroom showcases sixty new and second-hand motorhomes. One of the largest in the country, the showroom is situated on thirty-two acres of landscaped grasslands by the River Nene. The business has grown from strength to strength and the managers are planning the next stage of expansion and development. We have also invested in a brand new purpose-built valeting bay. 

Nothing Is Too Much Trouble

Lance and Harry are always on hand to offer expert advice and to answer any queries relating to buying vehicles; the brothers pride themselves in leaving no stone unturned. If you have any problems reaching the showroom, Lance and Harry have even been known to send a courtesy car to the train station to transport clients to the sales site, Wellsbridge also has facilities for motorhome storage.

Wellsbridge Motorhomes aims to accommodate its customers in any way they can. “Nothing is too much trouble”.

The large, brightly lit showroom includes a substantial area selling miscellaneous accessories. Adjacent to the showroom is a refreshment area accommodating a lounge where clients can enjoy free drinks and a comfortable seating area in a non-smoking area.

The youngest brother known as ‘H’ leads a team of mechanics at PBS Services based near Ramsey Mereside where there are large workshops equipped specifically for spraying, paintwork, PDi, servicing, repairs and fitting new accessories.

A Winning Team

In 1998 and 1999 Lance and Harry of Wellsbridge Motorhomes were voted runners-up for Team of the Year and Dealer of the Year and have also received Awards of Excellence by Swift Group. The awards of Excellence were awarded to Wellsbridge Sales for scoring the highest customer satisfaction rating. Every new owner of a Swift motorhome receives a questionnaire asking for their views on both the quality of the product and the service provided by Wellsbridge Sales. This award not only represents the work of those selling to the public but behind the scenes in the work-shops, accounts department and administration.

Each year from 2014 to 2017 Wellsbridge motorhomes was awarded the Practical Motorhome Owner Satisfaction Awards which include Gold Awards for pre-owned Motorhomes, we received this award because we achieved a satisfaction score of between 80 and 100 per cent for all areas of ownership, reliability and quality. Something we take great pride in.

All used vehicles are sold with the benefit of a full service, 12 months MOT and a one year warranty on labour and parts. This warranty is supplied by Customer Protect and may be extended up to 3 years. Please note that all motorhomes pre-2007 will come with a 6 month warranty. Selling around Europe 

Wellsbridge Motorhomes offer a sell-on service to clients on a “no sale no fee” basis, or the company will purchase your old motorhome for cash. Wellsbridge offers various part-exchange options when purchasing a motorhome which includes cars, caravans and of course Motorhomes.

The stock at Wellsbridge is constantly changing. The Website is updated daily, displaying all new stock and removing sold vehicles. Sometimes, videos of motorhomes are uploaded onto Wellsbridge Motorhomes YouTube Channel when available. You can also access motorhome information from Facebook and Twitter. These are ideal social media sites for the company to continue offering clients old and new, up-to-the-minute information about company offers. With clients arriving at the sales site from all over Europe, the staff team at Wellsbridge Motorhomes feel that this service is vital and will eliminate costly long wasted journeys.
